Replacement of gravel section in the square

It is now likely that the timing of the replacement for the gravel will be moved to fit in with the major works proposed for this year.

The gravel section in the square is creating problems for the central water feature. Loose gravel is moved into the water feature where it can block the feature's filters. This causes the need for frequent and costly intervention by maintenance engineers.

It is proposed to replace the gravel with a bonded resin of similar colour to the existing gravel. This will protect the filters.

Mainstay has created a specification for the bonded resin replacement and this is currently being issued for competitive tendering. Once tenders are received, they will be considered by the directors of our management company.
