Update 3 April
The relevant parts are on order and we expect the fix to be in the next few days. Urang will advise when this is done.
Update 15 March
Following the engineer visit today, we have confirmed that the principle launch amplifier and subsidiary amplifiers, responsible for distributing the signal from dish to box, have low levels of signal and need to be replaced. We are now awaiting a quote to replace them and will proceed thereafter as soon as the amplifiers are available.
Update 14 March
We have now received reports from Firstport's satellite contractors and an independent contractor. They offer conflicting opinions on the fault and therefore the solution. This is clearly unacceptable.. We have engaged a third engineering firm, approved by Sky to attend the site tomorrow. I, and Hossein Bayat, will be in attendance with them to review their findings and the previous reports we have received. We will update again in the next day or so,
Original Post
Sky has been an issue which has been upsetting for many residents for some time and which Firstport has failed to address. We have asked Firstport to handover any engineer's reports they have. This will now happen. It appears that we may need a more comprehensive upgrade to the system.
Once Urang has received the engineer's report, we have asked Urang to treat this as a matter of urgent priority. We will continue to update when we have further information.
I still have problems with Sky. Please advise
Thank you .
